Initial Disclosure Document

The Financial Conduct Authority is the independent regulator of financial services. The Financial Conduct Authority requires us to provide you with a document called an ‘Initial Disclosure Document’. This document provides information about us, the services we will provide, what we charge for our services, who regulates us, what to do if you have a complaint and details about the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Leaselife Limited (also referred to herein as Leaselife) is a credit broker, not a lender.

Leaselife are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Our firm’s reference number is 820480. You can verify this on the FCA’s website www.fca.org.uk or by telephone on 0800 111 6768. Leaselife’s trading and registered address is West Midlands House, Willenhall, West Midlands, WV13 2HN. Leaselife is permitted by the FCA to carry out credit broking.

What Services Do We Provide?

Leaselife provides motor vehicle finance brokerage services to customers via third party finance providers. Leaselife will provide you with comparable details of firms that offer the most appropriate funding methods that suit your requirements, or general information relating to finance products.

The funding options on offer from Leaselife are business and personal Contract Hire agreements. In order to assess your requirements, Leaselife may seek information about your personal circumstances and objectives that could be relevant in identifying your needs.

Leaselife offers optional products and services, such as Contract Hire with Maintenance and Personal Contract Hire with Maintenance.

Leaselife will only offer products from a carefully selected panel of finance providers. Leaselife will not refer you outside of this panel. You can request a list of the suppliers that provide Leaselife’s vehicle funding and finance. All products that are offered by Leaselife Limited are optional. Leaselife may receive a fee for introducing you to one of the approved portfolios of lenders that assist with your agreement.

As a Financial Conduct Authority regulated credit broker we can introduce you to a range of lenders who may be able to help you finance your vehicle and provide other products/services.

Do We Charge For Our Services?

Leaselife Limited charge an administration fee of £195 plus VAT (£234 including VAT), payable upon confirmation of vehicle order.  This fee relates to our initial consultation, vehicle sourcing, searches, administration relating to the handing of application documentation, administration relating to the finalization of vehicle order, administration relating to the finance documentation and administration relating to the booking of vehicle delivery. We are a commission and fee-based organization which means that we may receive a payment(s) or other benefits from finance providers should you decide to enter into an agreement with us. These fees may be variable or pre-set dependant on the product and the volume that we place with the chosen vehicle supplier.

Vehicle Cancellation Charges

If you cancel your order after you have signed your order confirmation, Leaselife Limited and/or any third party in relation to this agreement reserve the right to levy a cancellation charge of

£250.00 plus vat or £300.00 including Vat

Irrevocable Vehicle Order Cancellation

This charge is to cover Leaselife Limited whereby a cancellation as resulted byway of placing an irrevocable order that we are unable to cancel and we forced to purchase or compensate the supplying dealer. In the event of any cancellation by you whereby a vehicle has been purchased for you, or an irrevocable order with the manufacturer has been placed by Leaselife Limited in accordance with your instructions, Leaselife Limited reserve the right to pass on any consequential losses, up to 10% of the On the Road Price of the vehicle.

Complaint Procedure

It is the aim of Leaselife Limited is to provide a very high standard of service to every client; unfortunately, from time to time things can and do go wrong. When they do, we will make every effort to resolve and handle your complaint as quickly and amicably as possible.

In the unlikely event that a complaint you have made has remained unresolved after 8 weeks from the date it was made, you may be able to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), dependent upon the nature of your complaint. The FOS provides a mechanism for resolving disputes which is a simple, informal and accessible alternative to the courts. Leaselife Limited – Confidentiality and Data Protection

As the services Leaselife offer require obtaining credit acceptance for your vehicle, Leaselife will need to pass your details on to funding or finance providers. A list of partners is available on request together with related Consumer Credit License numbers.

Any of Leaselifes’s partners that have been chosen to arrange credit will need to undertake credit searches with a credit reference agency or credit reference agencies. Your details will not be forwarded without permission that is given by way of a signed order quote, detailing both the vehicle and your terms of funding or finance.
